YOU HAVE MAIL!
WHAT is in Common?: All the organizations speak on the year ending and how 2018 is going to be a better year. They all mention one way of doing that is by your help! They also mention so examples of what happened in 2017 to make it such a good yeah, like the changes they made.
BIG differences: Downcity: mostly pictures!!!! Match: (only the first page loads) but I believe this one is supposed to make you feel sorrow and want to help the children as they look like they need a place to stay and some food. united: very wordy but makes it easy to donate by giving clickable buttons. Youth: focuses on their birthday! and they used one picture with short burst of text.
TOOLS to make me give my money: pictures so I can see the work being done. They address the reader by name which makes it feel personal as though the letter is for your eyes only and you are meant to make the difference. The easy donate buttons draw you in on united as a busy person, a one click option is something I would need. YIA plays on their 20th birthday by asking donors to donate 20 dollars every month or to increase donations 20%. repetition to stick in your head. Downcity focuses on using pictures with very little text. Then they ask for an end of the year donation.
WHO gets my $50.00???: At first I was going to give my money to Downcity because I loved looking at the pictures and seeing the work that was done but then I thought about it, and realised their was not enough information about their plan or what their work was for me to donate, of course I could research more (which I am going to do) but solely based on the flyer I would not give them my money but instead United We Dream as they have a good mix of text and pictures (logo and donation buttons to break up text). Honestly, I think it is the donation buttons that sold me as I am on the go and a button I can just click that will send me to the right documentation to donate 50 dollars in 2 minutes is the kind of webpage we need in our life.
